IMPROVEMENT IN FEED-CUPS FOR BIRD-CAGES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 156,348, dated October 27, 1874; application filed August 28, 1874.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ANDREW B. HENDRYX, of Ansonia, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Improvement in Feeding-Cups for Bird-Cages; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exactl description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in-

This invention relates to au improvement in the cups used for feeding birds in cages, the object being to attach the cup without moving or opening any part of the cage; and it consists in a cup with a spout extending from one side and Widening slightly from the cup, so that the spout may be forced between the wires, and the elasticity of the wires will cause them to return into the contracted portion of the cup and hold the cup in place.

I claim as my invention- The herein-described feedingcup for birdcages, consisting of the cup A and spout B, and with recesses ot, by means of which to secure the cup to the cage between the vertical wires, substantially as set forth.
