A. stitched buttonhole comprising a fabric having an overseam formed with a plurality of upper threads disposedin zigzag arrangement in overlapping zones and having loops passing through and keyedat the under face of the fabric, and 'a top cord disposed in the overlapping portion of said zones and bound down by said upper threads.
