The handle B is pivoted near one end to the outer end of the leg F, the short end of the handle projecting inwardly, and being provided with the small spur-wheel O.
I employ a device constructed as described. To use the implement for this purpose, the leg D is inserted in the kettle, and the handle B raised, bringing the Wheel 0 against the outer side of the vessel, and clamping or grasping it, as shown in Fig. 2, the dotted lines in said figure representing a section of the kettle.
The projection or prong E is designed for lifting griddles, and similar uses, the implement, When employed for this purpose, assuming the position shown in Fig. 1.
The object of the Wheel 0 is to enable the implement to be disengaged from the kettle with greater facility.
Having thus fully described my invention, I claim-- The body A, provided with the legs F D, and the handle B, provided with the Wheel 0, constructed and arranged to operate substantially as and for the purpose specified.
