In the several views 19 represents the body of our improved form. Its construction and formations are particularly adapted for sheet metal material, which is light, easily and with comparative cheapness stamped with ornamental surface designs, does not adhere to the molded structure like wooden molds, is more durable, etc., as will appear from the hereinafter detailed description. Said body 19 is strengthened against bending strains by bent out edge portions, such as an upper edge fiange 4 which is bent outwardly from the wall-side of the form, an inward horizontal bend 4 and a flange 8 extending from the flange 4 and forming a stop which is designed to bear against the side of the wall FQ as shown most clearly in Figures 2 and 5.
As shown in the cut-away portions 32 in Figure 3, portions of the stop or gauge fiange 8 are struck out therefrom at right angles to form supporting feet, lips, ears, lugs, or rests adapted to rest on top of the structure 9 upon which the molded structure is placed. These feet or supports 3lbeing thin, or merely the thickness of the sheet metal, are easily withdrawn when the plastic material has set, and leave no appreciable marks, scars or recesses that require separate attention after removal of the form. Along its lower edge the form body 19 is strengthened longitudinally by substantially two angle-irons, or the right angle bend that forms the rib or flange 4 and the right angle final bend which provides the stop-plate '8, and these features are retained in the form in its different applications, and whether doubly, as in Figure 2, or singly, as in Figures 5 and 6.
Provision for joining together a plurality of bodies 19 to form longer units of moldstructure, is made in the form of vertical end flanges, or bent out portions, which are adapted to engage a slot 14 in a forked clamp-member 5, as indicated at 10 and 1 4 in Figure 3. The flanges 10 are held against accidental displacement from the slot 14 in a lateral direction, by a slot 14 arranged at right angles to the slot 14 and formed between an enlarged portion 6 of the clamp member 5 and the forked portion containing the slot 14, (as shown on an enlarged scale in Figure 4), said slot 14 being engaged by upwardly projecting lugs 6 which are left as unbent portions of the upper edge To all fic-7mm t may concern:
Be it known that we, JOHN L. MoN'rnN and CARL NnLsoN, former subjects of the King of Sweden, (we have declared our intentions of becoming citizens of the United States), residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Clamping and Locking Devices for Forms l0 for Concrete Construction, of which the following is a full, clear, concise, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification.
Our invention relates to improvements in clamps and locking devices for forms for concrete construction designed for use especially in the formation of wall copings, belt courses on building structures, window sills, door sills and watertables for building foundation and like structures.
One object of our'invention is the production of a device of this character which may be readily and quickly erected for use and as readily and easily removed after setting of the concrete for further use. A further object is the provision of a device of this character which will be of an adjustable nature permitting of ready and expeditious adjustment to meet various conditions and requirements, and which will be firm and rigid after application or assembly so as to insure the production of a concrete structure which will be of accurate design and finished appearance'.
A still further object is the production of a device for concrete construction which will be of durable and economical construction and highly eflicient in use. Other objects will appear hereinafter. With this object in view the invention consists in the combinations and arrangements of parts hereinafter described and claimed. The invention will be best understood by reference to the accompanying drawings wherein like numerals refer to corresponding parts.

A mold form comprising a metal unit with laterally projecting bent out edge portions which form thin and integral fingers that extend from the bottom edges of the form and support said form on a wall but adapted to be withdrawn after the molded form' has set or hardened without leaving a disliguring opening or scar in said form.
