' v.description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, with letters of reference marked thereon, forming a part of this speciication, in which the figure is a .perspective view of a device embodying my invention, showing one panel standing and one down.
The panels are formed by uprights A, boards C, and a base-board, D, firmly secured together. B represents the ground posts, which are firmly secured in the ground, and provided near the tops with perforations to receive the pins a a; the bottom of the uprights Aare also providedwith corresponding per forations. To the center of each panel I secure uprights A, to the top of which are pivoted braces E E, one upon each side of the4 panel. The feet of the uprights are provided with perforations corresponding to those in the. ground-posts B. The uprights A' are further provided with a pivoted catch, F, to fasten the panel down by turning the `catch in against the upright A. It is usual to place the braces E at the end of each panel, but this allows the center of the panels to sag when any amount of pressure is brought to bear against the panel; but by placing the braces in the center this difculty is prevented. The upper pins a assist in preventing the braces from `working loose when the fence Ais standing, as by the use of the pins a the bottoin fastening is made rigid.
