BAG HOLDER.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ALBERT J. STRAUB, a citizen of the United States, and resident of Fresno, in the county of Fresno, State of Galifornia, have invented certain'new and useful Improvements in Ba Holders, of which the following is a specification.

My invention relates to store furniture and the object thereof is to provide a rack or holder for holding bags of various sizes in a manner for the convenient removal of a be of any desired size singly as required and to allow of filling each individual holder with a plurality of bags.

A further object is to provide a device of the above character so mounted as to be easilyand quickly transported from place to place if desired or as desired, or the same may be securely mounted upon a wall or other desired place of use.

While I have shown and will describe m device as adapted to holding cloth bags suc 1 as are used b seedsmen and the like, it will be obvious t at it is equally adaptable for holding paper bags.

' In the use of my device the bags will be suspended at either and between the roller 26 and bar 16. When it is desired to remove a bag, either end of the same may be grasped and the bag drawn upwardly or downwardly as the case may be.

Having described my invention, what I claim is:

1. A rack for holding bags comprising a pair of spaced vertically extending and members; a bag supporting rail connecting the upper ends of said end members at the rear edges thereof; a bar connecting the up or ends of said end members opposite said ag supporting rail; a plurality of bag holdin members mounted on the inner face of sai bar adapted to engage and hold bags against said bag supporting rail.

2. A bag holding rack comprising side members; a be supporting rail connecting said side mem rs at the rear edges thereof; a bar connecting the 11 per ends of said side members opposite sai bag supporting rail, in combination with a plurality oi bag,

3. 4. A bag holding rack including a frame comprising a pair of'spaced, vertically extending end members; rollers sup orting said end members at the lower ends tliereof; a pair of cross members connecting the upper ends of said endmembers at opposite 2o sides thereof; in combination with a plurality of bag holding members mounted upon the inner face of one of said cross members, each of said bag holding members comprising a substantially rectangular frame pivotally mounted at one end upon the inner face of one of said cross members and having its other end adapted to bear against the opposed face ofthe other rail; a spring coiled, around the pivoted, end of said frame having one end bearing against one side of said frame and the otherend connectedto said cross member, whereby the free end of said frame is held in yieldable engagement against the opposed face of the other rail; and a roller revolubly mounted upon the free end of said rectangular frame.
