which is shown as round in 0 although it is tobe'un'derstood "at-it 12:3 be of any cross sectional contour'desi win in perspective Fig. 2 is a fragment lview of'the .t'ool One end of the shank carries a handle 16 of 4.0 I
spherical form and preferably constructed of wood. The opposite end of the shank is'provided with an extension of reduced thickness which constitutes a penetrating prong 17; This prong is, preferably; of ciroular form in cross section and isjta' ered from its point of connection with the ank toits free end so as toprovide a relatively i sharp point at its free end. At the junc-- -tion of the shank and the pron an annular shoulder 18 is provided, suchs oulder constituting a member for limiting the inward movement of the prongwithin acan;
In the applied ition f the tool as clearly shown in ig. 2,.th prong adapted to be forced through the top of the can 19 and it will be understood that In order to obtain this eflect, it is nar to exert downward pressure upon the punc throu h the medium of the handle 16. The shoul er ointed prong and a limiting shoulder at are junction of the shank and'prong.
