To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, CHESTER MoKAY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Glen Brook, in the county of Fairfield and State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Game Indicators, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact specification.

This invention relates to game indicators, especially designed for use with the-game board for which application is filed of even date herewith, namely, June 3, 1921, Ser. No. 474,659.

It is the object of the present invention to provide a gameindicator having a spinning member to be operated by the blowing of the players instead of any of the mechanical means heretofore employed. A further object is to construct said spinning member in such a way that it is difiicult to turn the same by blowing, thereby adding to the fun incident to playing the game.

The invention will be first hereinafter described in connection with the accompanying drawings, which constitute part of this specification, and then more specifically defined in the claims at the end of the description.

In the accompanying drawings, wherein similar reference characters are used to designate corresponding parts throughout the several views:

Figure 1 is a plan view of an indicator constructed substantially in accordance with this invention.

The spinning member 1 is centrally swiveled at 2 upon a base plate 3 which is divided by radial lines 1 into segments 5, each of which bears indicia for governing the plays to be made in the course of a game. Said spinning member 1 is preferably made in circular form and may be composed of cardboard, or other suitable material.

Vanes or wings 6 are formed on said spinning member and may be made by cutting and bending up portions of said member. as

clearly illustrated in the drawings- These vanes or wings extend entirely above the plane of the spinning disk and are arranged radially thereon so that when a player blows downwardly upon the central portion of the spinning member, the vanes will catch the current of air and result in the rotation of said member. An arrow or pointer 7 is arranged radially on the upper surface of the spinning disk for indicating'one of the indicia bearing segmentsfi after each movement of said member. 7

The spinning member is preferably formed with an annular uncut marginal portion 8 which serves as a fly wheel for bal- 'ancing said member in rotation. A block 9 is placed between the central portion of the base plate 1 and the corresponding portion of the spinning member for supporting the I latter out of contact with said base plate, so that said spinning member may rotate with itsmarginal portion out of contact with said base plate. At the same time, the spinning member may be easily rocked so that its marginal portion will engage the base plate, and this is apt to occur if the player does not direct his blow evenly upon the same, thus rendering it difficult to actuate said spinning member and increasing theamusement incident thereto.

I claim:

1. In a game-indicator, the combination with a base plate having radially arranged indicia thereon, of an indicator disk centrally swiveled on'said base plate and having upwardly inclined wings mounted thereon, whereby said disk may be rotated by a current of air, and a pointer on the upper surface of said disk, said disk having a continuous annular marginal portion for the purpose specified.

2. In a game-indicator, the combination with a base plate having radially arranged indicia thereon, of an indicator disk centrally swiveled on said base plate and having upwardly inclined wings mounted thereon, whereby said disk may be rotated by'a current of air, a pointer on the upper surface of said disk, said disk having a continuous annular marginal portion for the purpose specified, and a spacing block between the base plate and the central portion of the spinning disk for normally supporting said miarginal portion out of contact with said ate.

In a game-indicator, the combination with a base plate having radially arranged indicia thereon, of a spinning disk centrally swiveled on said plate and having radial wings cut from said disk and bent upwardly, whereby said disk may be rotated by a current of air, and a pointer on the upper surface of said disk.

4. In a game-indicator, the combination 5 with a base plate having radially arranged indicia thereon, of a spinning disk centrally swiveled on said plate and having radial wings cut from said disk and bent upwardly,

whereby said disk may be rotated by a current of air, and a pointer on the upper surface of said disk, there being a continuous annular marginal portion around the disk for the purpose specified. In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification.
