The invention relates to a game device, and more especially to a bottle supported game play- 'ing contrivance.

The primary object of the invention is the provision of a device of this character, wherein the cooperating elements, being two in number are supported .on a bottle, so that a game can be played for amusement and entertainment in the use of the same. The device being of novel construction and is unique in the support thereof, as both the indicator and the dial for registering the plays will be held elevated from a table or other like base, thus affording access with ease, visibility and operation.

Another object of the invention is the provision of a device of this character, wherein the dial is stationarily held while the indicator can be actuated for the spinning thereof for securing purposes in association with the said dial, the indicator being hand operated and for example; the well known game of base ball can be imitated for the playing thereof by the said device.

A further object of the invention is the provision of a device of this character which is simple in construction, thoroughly reliable and efiicient in the working thereof, strong, durable, possessed of two parts only, which are adapted for support by a bottle of the beverage holding type, readily and easily operated, neat in appearance, assuring amusement and excitement, as

well as entertainment to players for the playing of a game thereby, and inexpensive to manufacture and install.

With these and other objects in View the invention consists in the features of construction, combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which shows the preferred embodiment of the invention, and pointed out in the claims hereunto appended.

Figure 3 is a perspective view of the device in an assembled condition and supported on a bottle for the playing of a game.

Referring to the drawing in detail, A designates generally a scoring dial, which is one part or element of the device constructed in accordance with the invention, while B denotes generally the spinning indicator of such device.

The dial A, comprises a stiff disk-like body preferably made from suitable fibrous sheet material, such as cardboard and this body has a central hole II therein, which is of a size to tightly embrace the neck I2 of a bottle I3, of any beveragecontaining type so that the body ID will be held fixedly on this neck, as best seen in Figure 3 of the drawing and in an elevated position when the bottle I3 is upright and at rest on a foundation not shown. The uppermost face or surface of the body has extending outwardly from the hole II to the outer peripherial edge of such body, radially disposed lines I4 providing there between scoring spaces I5. These in their group creating a game playing field.

The spaces 15 next to the outer periphery of the dial have exposed scoringindicia IE which are readable concentrically to the hole I! for convenient score findings in the playing of a game by the device.

The spinning indicator B, comprises a substantially disk-like rotor l'l preferably made from the same material from which the dial is constructed and is flat, it having at determined intervals peripherally thereof spaced outwardly tapered striking extensions forming tongues I8, while at one point of the rotor I! and midway between the tongues adjacent to each other, is an inwardly directed substantially V-shaped window or recess Ill having an arrow head 2|! of a pointer intersecting the said head at the crest of the crotch of the V-formation of this window or recess, the stem 2| for the head 20 being radially marked on the upper surface of such rotor and continues inwardly thereof for merger with a centrally located hole 22 provided in said rotor. The neck I2 of the bottle I3 is adapted to be accommodated within this hole 22 so that the rotor ll will be arranged superposed to the dial A, as best seen in Figure 3 of the drawing and free for rotating on the said neck to have the pointer identify certain data or indicia it when the spinning activity of the indicator B comes to rest in a space I5 on the dial. The indicator B is operated by trigger action of the forefinger of a player upon a selected striking tongue is causing the rotor I! to spin and have it come to a standstill with relation to the dial A for the scoring of a play in a game; as for example, the game of base ball, the indicia l6 being indicative of the scoring plays thereof.

The holes H and 22 are congruous to the external tapered formation to the neck of the bot- 3 tle, so that the dial and indicator will maintain their spaced relation to each other as disclosed in Figure 3 of the drawing.

What is claimed is:

1. A device of the kind described, comprising a bottle having a neck, a disk-like dial fixedly embracing the neck and having radially disposed line markings on its upper face to provide scoring spaces therebetween, scoring indicia within said spaces, and a disk-like rotor rotatably supported on the neck above the dial having a pointer cooperating with the spaces on the dial for identifying scorin indicia therein when the rotor comes to rest after spinning action thereof, and striking extensions protruding from the rotor for hand trigger action thereon.

In a device of the kind described, a support for game disks, a disk-like dial fixably mounted on said support, said disk-like dial having radially disposed line markings on its upper face to provide scoring faces therebetween, scoring indicia within said faces, and a disk-like rotor rotatably support-ed on the support above said dial, said disk-like rotor having a plurality of peripherally spaced outwardly tapered striking extensions formed thereon, and an inwardly directed substantially V-shaped wind-ow formed therein, and an arrow head positioned in said V-shaped window adjacent the deepest part thereof for indicating scoring indicia on said disk-like dial when said disk-like rotor is spun by finger action against said tapered striking extension.

In a device of the kind described, comprising a bottle having a neck, a disk-like dial fixedly embracing said neck, said disk-like dial having radially disposed line markings on its upper face to provide scoring faces therebetween, scoring indicia within said faces and a disk-like rotor rotatably supported on said neck above said disklike dial, said disk-like rotor having at spaced intervals peripherally thereof outstanding tapered striking extensions, said disk-like rotor being formed with an inwardly directed substantially V-shaped window, and an arrowhead pointer positioned in said V-shaped window adjacent the deepest portion thereof, said arrowhead serving to indicate scoring indicia on said disk-like dial when said disk-like rotor is spun by finger action against said spaced outwardly extending tapered striking extension.

4. In a device of the kind described, a support for a plurality of disks suitable for use in playing a game, a disk-like dial fixedly embracing said support, said dial having radially disposed line markings on its upper face to provide scoring faces therebetween, scoring indicia within said faces and a disk-like rotor rotatably supported on said support above said disk-like dial, said disk-like rotor having at predetermined intervals peripherally thereof a plurality of spaced outwardly tapered striking extensions, and an inwardly directed substantially V-shaped window positioned in said disk-like rotor between adjacent striking extensions, and an arrowhead positioned in said V-shaped window at approximately the low point of said V-shaped window, said arrowhead serving to indicate scoring indicia on said disk-like dial when said disk-like rotor is spun by finger action against said striking extension of said rotor.
