To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES F. NAGLE, a citizen of the United States,'residing at Southington, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Fixtures for Grinding Beveled Chisels; and I do hereby cleclare the following, ,when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the characters of reference-marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said dra-wings constitute part of this application, and represent,

In carrying out my invention, as herein shown, I employ a'frame having a body5, and oppositely-projecting, integral arms 6, perforated at 7 for the reception of bolts 8, by which the frame is rigidly secured to'a suitable reciprocating slide 9 of ordinary construction and operation, and indicated by broken lines.
The body 5 of the said frame is formed near its forward upper edge with an upwardly-opening, outwardly-inclined chiselreceiving groove 10, extending throughout its length and adapted in width to receive chisels of the maximum thickness to be beveled, The upper face of the said body is formed with a deep recess 11, intersecting the groove 10' between the .ends thereof and provided for the reception of a pivotal camshaped chisel-clamp12, theiclampin 13 of which is beveled to correspond to th inclination from the vertical of the groove" 10 which is outwardly inclined with respect:
