The invention is embodied in the construction herein particularly shown and described, the features of novelty being finally claimed.

In the accompanying drawing forming part hereof Figure 1 is a front elevation exhibiting the interior of the oven.

Fig. 2 is mainly a top plan view with a portion of the right hand end in section.

Fig. 3 is an elevation of the right hand end of the oven, it being shown as connected with the stoves rear wall which is shown in vertical section.

Fig. 4 is a transverse vertical sectional view on the line IVIV Fig. 2 looking to the left.

Fig. 5 is an end view showing how the top and bottom of the oven may be brought into a spaced relation adapted to receive the fold ed camp stove.

In the several views 6 designates the bottom of the oven, said bottom being formed of suitable sheet metal, and having at its rear edge a narrow wall 6 bent up from the bottom at preferably a right angle thereto. The bottom has hinged to its ends, end walls 7 of truncated triangular forms. These end walls are of sheet metal and fold inward on the grid hereinafter described. These end walls are provided with wire handles 8 hinged to fold against the walls and serve for lifting the oven when set up. Hinged at 9 to the bottom wall of the oven is a wire grid 10 adapted to be supported in operating position by means of pins 11 swiveled in clips 12 secured to the inner sides of the end walls. The pins 11 are in the form of a double crank, the lower crank 11 being bent out of line with the other so that it can be easily taken with the fingers to turn the Serial No. 445,092.

The front and ends of the upper wall are slightly flanged downward as seen at 12 and 12 to engage or overhang the upper edges of the end walls as shown. When the oven is hung on the stove the top forms a cover which may be raised and lowered at will with a ring 13. The upper corners of the end walls are provided with books 1 1, as shown in Fig. 1, to hook over the upper edge of the rear wall 15 of the camp stove as shown in Fig. 3. The narrow rear wall 6 of the bottom of the oven is provided with a leg 16 hinged to turn up edgewise next to said wall. Said end wall 6 is provided with a guard 17 within which the leg turns to aid in preventing pronounced flexing of the leg. The top and bottom walls of the oven can be made bright on their inner surfaces so as to reflect heat in the general direction of the grid and articles placed thereon for baking or roastmg.

An important feature of the invention is that the oven can be opened for the examination and change of the contents by merely raising the top and without detaching the oven from the stove. Another importantfeature of the invention as thus embodied is that every part of it is connected with the others so that no part can be lost.

The camp stove of my former patent referred to is capable of compact folding, and the oven herein described is also capable of being folded as suggested in Fig. 5, but by reason of the rear wall 6 the top and bottom walls may be so positioned as shown in Fig. 5 as to receive between them the folded stove. When the two articles are so nested they occupy very little more space than either one.

The forms of the parts can be varied somewhat without departing from the gist of the invention as claimed.

What I claim is:

1. In an oven of the kind described, the combination of a bottom wall and a top wall hinged to the rear of the bottom wall, end walls hinged to the ends of the bottom wall and hooks fixed at the forward upper corners of the end Walls .to engage the ovenheating Wall of a stove.

2. In an oven of the kind described, the combination of a bottom Wall and a top Wall hinged thereto, end Walls hinged to the ends of the bottom Wall, a grid hinged to the bottom Wall, and means for engaging said grid With said end Walls to hold them in erect position and hooks fixed to the forward upper corners of the end Walls to engage the oven-heating Wall of a stove.

3. In an oven of the kind described, the combination of a bottom Wall, end Walls hinged to the ends of said bottom Wall, a grid hinged to the bottom wall, a top Wall hinged to the rear of the bottom Wall and means on the end Walls for engaging the grid With those Walls when the latter are erected to the position of use, said means consisting of swiveled pins having disalined hooks projecting therefrom.
