-. Be it known that l, WILLIAM ELGRAY, a' citizen of the United States, and a resident o f the city of Chicago, county of Cook, and Stateof Illinois, have invented certain new and useful improvements in Hair Clippers, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to improvements in hair clippers and more particularly the driving mechanism therefor, the object of the invention being to provide a simple and efficient driving Vmechanism for the clipper which will operate at suitable speed and substantially without vibration thereof.
Other objects will appear hereinafter.

A driving shaft 7 is mounted in the handle 6 and provided at its outer end with the usual socket 8 for the reception of and connection with the usual iexible shaft 9.
