'The invention shown in the accompanying drawings, hereinbefore describedl and hereinafter claimed, operates and is utillzed in the following manner:
Assuming that the loaded truck l' has come upon the platform 20, over the approach platform. 4, and into the position shown in Figures 2, 3 and 16, it is evident that the'actuation of the rear truclrwheels 3 in the direction. indicated by the arrow, Figure 10, will result', through the friction between the corrugated rollers 36 and the drive wheels 3, in the turning of the shaft 33, bevel gear 31, bevel gear 29, and pinion 28. inasmuch as the gear casting 13 is fixed, the platform 26, truck 1 and its load will turn Iupon the rollers 25 to any desired position, for instance, the reversed position of the truck shown in Figure 4. lt will be noted, particularly in Figure 10, that the pawls 46 and48- are so hung as to play idly over the ratchet wheels 42 and 44 during.

Thus the operations are repeated with a minimum loss of time and with nol idle movements of the turn-table. A turn-table comprising, a platform adapted to accommodate an automobilek truckga base for said platform; a circular gear fixed to said base; a longitudinal shaft provided with a pair of gears adjacent its two ends; a third gear adapted to be turnedby said shaft intermediate said pair of gears, said third gear being adapted to co-operate with said fixed gear; a pair of transverse lll all
