Be it known that l, Triorrrson M. HUrn MAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Dunkirk, in the county of Jay, State ot Indiana, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Covers for Sap Buckets; and l do hereby declare the tollowing to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This invention relates to new and useful improvements in sap buckets and particularly to covers therefor.
One object of the invention is to provide a cover for a sap bucket which is held firmly in closed position and which can ben easily removed a suiiicient distance to permit sap being poured from the bucket.
Another object is to provide a cover for a sap bucket which is spring held in closed position and which is also capable of being; swung' into position at the side ot' the bucket, when the bucket is to be cleaned or when a number are to be stacked away For storage.
A further object is to provide a cover which will exclude flies, and other insects as well as dust and like foreign substances from the bucket.
