Vhen the surrounding edges of the closure seal is completely sealed, the aforesaid chemical'inlet is sealed by the same operation.
lThe chemical supercharges the air in the crypt until it can take up no more moisture and consequently the body can give off .no more moisture. The germs of 'putrefaction' are destro-yed and cease to cause decay and the body constantly remains natural and unchanged. p
lVhat I claim is l. A burial crypt comprising a hollow compartment having a discharge opening and whose bottom is shaped for directing the seepage to the said discharge opening, means for draining the seepage through the said opening and eXteriorly of the compartment, devices combined with the compart ment through which a deodorizing solution cau be injected into the said'compartment and further means hermetically sealing the said compartment and the said devices after the compartment has been charged with the aforesaid solutio-n, the said compartment bottom including a basin at the inletside into vwhich the deodorant solution is received, and other basins at the discharge side of the'compartment, the said basins at the discharging side being adapted for the reception of chemicals that tend to consume and filter the seepage as it passes to the discharge basin.
