Other objects will appear to those skilled in the art as the description proceeds, reference being had to the accompanying drawingin which- L y( liigure 1 is a side 'elevation of a motor car showing the application of the invention; Figure 2 is an end view' of theholding frame and cover with a part broken away to show details of `attaching to running board; `j` y c Figure v3 is va plan of a portion o'fja run ning board with the holding frame attached thereto;
Figure 4 is a side elevation of the cover Figure 5 is an end elevation showing af table top raised but with the hinged supports folded into the cupboard; Figure 6 is a side view in the tion and showing latches;

The numeral. (l) indicates an automobile providedwith the usual running board Attached to the running board is the frame (3) by means of the bolts (4) to (7) inclusive, cleats (8) and (9) are preferably used to prevent damage to the running board which might be caused by the bolt heads or nuts. rlhe frame maybe located as shown, or it may be attached further forward which ever is the most convenient. A. cover (10) is provided to fit over the frame v(3) and is held by any suitable fastener as `for instance thev hasp and hook (11) and (12).and staples (13) to (16) inclusive.
Suitable corners (17) are provided for The cupboard coinprises the base board (1S), the side boards {19)and (20), and the top board (21). Fixed to the side boards (19) and (20) is the shelf (22), other shelves or receptacles `may board (21) `are the table tops by means of the hinges (25) to (28) inclusive.

Suitable fasteners are provided to hold the table tops (23) and (24) in the closed posi- `tion .and consist of the hooks (39) pivoted `at (40), and adapted to hoo-hover pinsv (41) y on the table tops.
In operation 'the cover .is removed and the cupboard lifted out by means of the ,handles (42), the hooks releasedV from the. pins (41), the table tops .(23) and (24) raised, and held by swinging the frames (30) to (32) out under said tops, and after placing the blocks (38) under the legs the table is `ready for use.
Themeans above described cover the objects of my invention but I am aware that niodiications may be made in the construction thereof Within the scope of my invention.
I claim: y
A combined cupboard and `folding` table comprising a rectangular `cupboard frame having a plurality of cross-members therein for the support of various utensils, a front and a rear cover hingedly connected tothe top member of the frame adapted to close the cupboard and to be swung into ahorizontal position so as to be flush With the top member and to :form atable, two supporting iframes pivotally supported adjacent the sides of the cupboard between its top and bottom members for the` front and the rear cover adapted to disappear in 'the cupboard `when the covers are closed and to bev swung the cupboard and corresponding` pins on the covers in operative relation thereto adapted to be engaged by the same so as toiirmly bind the covers to the cupboard.
