lie it known that I, PINK C. BABE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Stockton, in the county of San Joaquin and State of California, have invented new and setul improvements in Envelopes. of which. the following; is a specification.

This invention relates to envelopes the object in view being to provide an envelope having means whereby it may be easily and quickly opened to enable the contents thereof to be removed.

in envelope comprising a sheet folded longitudinally to define front and back panels. a sealing iiap formed at one longi tudinal edge of the tront panel and toldable onto the back panel. an end closure flap formed on one end oi the front panel and sealed onto the hack of the back panel, and a flap formed on the other end of the front panel and cut back from the corners thereof whereby to leave tree spaces between the corners of the last named flop and the corners of the :tront panel, and a flexible. opening string pasted Within and extending throughout the length of the fold ot' said last named flap and having a projecting free end portion terminating short of the adjacent corner of the envelope, said last named flap being secured against the hack of the back panel.
