FREIma citizen of the United States, residing at Good Thunder, in the county of Blue Earth and State of Minnesota, have invented certain, new and useful Improvements in Nonrefill provision of a non-refillable bottle, which cannot be refilled by submerging the bottle at any angle.

manual means, or upon some rotating tool,
in such manner that the end 21 will rest beneath and abut the instruck shoulder 14-, thus providing that there will be a con tinuous and non-obstructed exit from the bottle, preventing tampering with the sleeve B for its removal.
In operation, to empty the contents of the bottle, the cork (not shown) is moved from the outlet of the bottle, and upon turning of the bottle to dispose the neck D downwardly, the valve C will by gravity drop, so that the tops of the projection 31 will abut the undersurface 20 of the sleeve B, thus insuring that the liquid or contents of the bottle will flow freely past the valve,
through the passageways 33 intermediate the projection ways 31, into the interior of the sleeve B, through the passageway 26 as defined by the bailles 24; and 25, and outwardly through the outlet 11 of the bottle A. Sinceuthe valve acts by gravitation, and is reciprocable within its seat in the neck D, it follows that upon disposal of the bottle A so that the neck D will be uppermost, the
valve C will drop into its seat 15, thus sealing the entrance to the interior 19 of the bottle A, and preventing refilling of the bottle. Should an attempt be made to fill the bottle by submerging the same in a liquid, and disposing the longitudinal axis of the bottle at any angle, the valve C, due to its buoyancy will float to a closed position.
It is'to be understood that the form of my invention herewith shown and described is to be taken as a preferred example of the same, and that various changes in the shape, size and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit of the invention orthe scope of the subjoined claims.
I claim:
1. In a non-refillable bottle, thecombinw tion of a bottle having a tapering seat there in adjacent the bottle opening, said seat converging inwardly of the bottle, a buoyant valve having downwardly converging sides adapted for placement on the seat in said bottle, and means for rendering said valve inaccesslble, yetperrnittmg operation thereof to empty the bottle, and prevent refilling thereof.
2; in a non-refillable bottle, the co1nbination with a bottle, of a non-corrosive retaining sleeve of pliable material, and a valve disposed adjacent the retaining sleeve adapted for co-action therewith to permit emptying of the contents of the-bottle and. prevent the refilling of the bottle,
In a non-refillable bottle, the combination with a bottle, a neck upon said bottle having a seat near the outlet thereof, and a second seat immediately below said first mentioned seat, a retaining sleeve disposed upon said first mentioned seat, having an end thereof adapted to be distorted to.en gage said neck, to prevent removal therefrom, and a valve reciprooably disposed upon said'second seat and adapted to co-aot with said retaining sleeve to permit emptying of the contents of the bottle and preventing the refilling of the bottle.
4. In a non-refillable bottle, thecornbination, of a bottle having a neck thereon provided with an instruck annular seat near the outlet thereof, and a conical seat imme tion, of a bottle, having a neck thereon provided with an inst-ruck annular seat near the outlet thereof, and a conical seat immediately below said annular seat, a retaining sleeve adapted to be disposed within said first mentioned annular seat and having an end thereof adapted to be inturned to tightly wedge the retaining sleeve within said seat, said retaining sleeve having overlapping baflle plates disposed upon the interior thereof, a hollow pyramidal shaped valve reciprocably mounted upon said conical seat immediately below said retaining sleeve and provided with projections there on adapted for co-action against said retaining sleeve to provide a passageway for permitting emptying of the contents of the bottle, said valve acting under gravitation to assume its seat to prevent refilling of the bottle.
6. In a non-refillable bottleQthe combina tion of a bottle having a seat thereinqadjavalve inaccessible, yet permitting operation thereof to empty the bottle and prevent re filling thereof.
