Will be durable and which Will avoid the production of unnecessary friction in use, also the unnecessary expense of screen repairs. Further yobjects are to generally improve and simplify the construction of the device and to better adapt it to perform the functions required of it, and it consists essentially of the improved construction hereinafter described in detail in the accompanying` specification and drawings.

Referring to the drawings A represents one of the sections of the conveyer includingl a frame formed by tubular side members 1() and 11 and end members 12and 13; each of the end members 12 and 13 are constituted by parallel bars 141 and 15 which are connected to the tubular side member 10 by means of pivot pins 16, the said pivot pins also serving to connect the end members 111 and 15 on adjacent secline line

The members 14; and 15 are maintained in their spaced relation by means of a spacing roller 17 surrounding the pin 16 and extendingl between the perforated ends of the members 1-1 and 15, through which thefpin iinding of the end members against the end of the tubular members is prevented by a Washer 18 surrounding the pin 16 land abutting the end of the tubular member 10 or 11 held in position by means of a cot-ter pin 19 which extends between it and the end of the members 15, as shown in Figure f1. lt will be observed also from this ligure that the pin 16 extends at a distance into the end of the tubular member Wherebv it may be maintained in position by fric.- tion.
The centre of the section A is filled by a foraminous supporting member 20 conveniently constructed of wire mesh. which at one side is Vinserted through a longitudinally extending slot 21 formed in the member 10, as illustrated in Figure 3, the foraminous supporting member being retained in such position by a metal clip 22 surrounding the member 10 and being riveted or other- Wise secured to the foraminous supporting member. The ends and opposite sides of the foraminous member adapted to be inserted through the slot 21 are re-inforced by binding material such as tin or Igalvanized iron which extends around tbe edges forming an inner frame 23. The foraminous supporting member is also reta-ined in its position at substantially the centre of the tubular members 10 and 11 by means of clips 24 secured to the end members 15 and engaging the ends of the inner frame 23 of the foraminous support-ing member. Additional support is also given by a clip 25 on the foraminous member extending` around and litting closely to the tubular member 11, to avoid sagging 0f screens in centre When going over hexagon sprockets.
To give additional support to the edges of the foraminous supporting member, the material forming the inner frame 23 is extended into the interior of the tubular member 10 and forms partially cylindrical projections 26 and 27 which embrace the pins 16 as shown in Figures 2 and t.
1t will be found from the foregoing that the various parts referred to will constitute. a conveyer section well adapted to support the cloth or Wool in a dryer machine and adapted to resist Wear and atthe same time remain in its proper position and operate with a minimum amount of friction, alsoa saving of a number of screen sections, and allowing of equal heating space.
As many changes could be made in the above construction. and many Widely dif:- ferent embodiments of my invention within the scope of the claims constructed Without departing from the spirit or scope thereof, it is intended that all matter contained in the accompanying speciiication and drawings shall be interpreted vas illustrative and not in a limiting sense.
l/Vhat I claim as my invention is l. A conveyer section comprising ktubular side members, end members connected to the lside members, means for pivotally connecting adjacent sections, one of the side members having a longitudinal slot therein and a supporting member located in thecentre of the section extending intok the Yslot in the side member, and a clip on the said supporting member extending over the opposite side member to that having a slot therein.
