T 0 all whom it may concern 1 1 'Be' it known that I, WALTER C. Linen-- MANN, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of Milwaukee, inthe county of Milwaukee, State of Wisconsin, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Reservoirs for Oil Stoves, of which the following is a specification.

'It sometimes happens that the ring or band mounted on the stove frame and supporting the bottle constituting the main reservoir becomes bent so that it does not support the bot-, tle in the properposition with respect to the auxiliary reservoir or sub-tank. If this ring or band is bent downwardly the valve at the 1 bottom of the main'reservoir is too low, and the liquid fuel does not riseto the full height in the burnerfand if it is'bent up the subtank fills to a higher level than is desirable and the liquid rises above the proper height in the burners, and may even overflow atthe burners. It is desirable therefore that the proper'relationship between the bottlesupporting band and the sub-tank shall be maintained, and to that end the present impro'veburners supported thereon out of proper ad;
j ustment and relationto the tank. The present improvements therefore provide means for reinforcing the end plate of the stove frame at the point where the supply pipe passes therethrough, so that its proper position and relationship to the main tank and sub-tank will be insured.

and thismember extends downwardly therefrom and inwardly to 'a point inside the-an nular rim or flange C of the auxiliary reservoir, and through the opening therein.
The lower endof the member -H has two ope j posed angular recesses cut therein so thatits extremity has a T-sha'pe', and the flange C of the auxiliary reservoir has-a slot C therein approximating the shape of an ordinary key hole, the' o P t of the Slot being. i:
narrow and the upper part widened. By means of this provision the T-shaped end of the member H may be inserted through the slot, if the member is turned at about right angles to its normal position, and then turned, so that it is securely held by the engagement of its said extremit with the metal surrounding the slot and the engagement of the narrow portion of the T with the edges thereof, and then when the supporting ring vH and its bracket are in proper position, and the latter is secured to the-stationary frame a connection is formed which insures that the saidring and auxiliary reservoir, and main'reservoir supported onthe former, shall be in proper position and relation. This provision is of great advantagenot only because it insures the proper relationship of the parts inentioned, but because in making and assembling the reservoir parts the ringvD, bracketE- and :mem-

In assembling; these parts, the. pipe G, which has previouslybeensecured to the sub- ,tank 0, is passed through the aperturefA' and seated in the recess A andjthesub-tank and pipe therein secured in position by means of the arms F, whichrmayfirst be secured to the sub-tank and thenyin thislast operation secured to the end plate. This construction and arrangement enables the manufacturer to form and" connect these parts before applying them-to the stove.

In a device for supplying fuel to liquid hydro-carbon stoves, the combination ofla frame member, a reservoir comprising a main reservoir with" bottom opening, and an auxiliary reservoir surrounding said "openmg, a supportsecured to said-frame member andflextending around the main reser-' [voir above the auxiliary reservoir, and a connecting ymember between said support and auxiliary reservoir having a. fixed connection with one and a detachable connection with the. other, and said detachable connection, comprising a Teshaped extremity with which the connecting. member :is provided andthe other partbeing provided. with a slot having an enlargement, the width of the T-shaped member being greater than one dimension of the slot, but smaller than another dimension, whereby when the' said member is passed therethroughoand turned it cannot be withdrawn therefrom;

In a device for supplyingfuel to liquid hydro-carbon stoves, the combination of i a frame member, a reservoir comprising a main reservoir with bottom opening and an auxiliary reservoir surrounding-said openmg, a support secured to said frame member-and extending/around the-main reservoir above, the auxil ary reservoir, and a connecting member between said" support and auxiliary reservoir having a fixed connection with one and :a detachable connec tion: with theother, and said detachableacon== nection, comprisingia T-shaped extremity with which the connecting member is pro- ;vided, and the other part being provided auxiliary reservoir surroundmg said open with a slot having an enlargement, the width of the T-shaped member being greater than one dimension of the slot, but smaller than another dimension, whereby when the said member is passed therethrough and turned it cannot be withdrawn therefrom, the said last named position being the normal position of the parts when assembled for use.
In a device for supplying fuel to liquid hydro-carbon stoves, the combination of a frame member, "a reservoir comprising a main reservoir with bottom opening and an auxiliary reservoir surrounding sald opening, a support secured to saidframe mem-' her and extending around themain reservoir above the auxiliary reservoir, and a connecting member between said support and auxiliary reservolr having a fixed connection with one and a detachable connectlon wlth the other, a supply pipe communicating with the lower part of the auxiliary reservoir and extending laterally therefrom, and through said frame member and a removable device on said frame'member and adjust,- ably connected therewith, having a portion capable of being pressed against the supply pipe to hold the same in fixed relation to said frame member.

The combination of a liquid fuel reservoir having an open top and a lower outlet, means for supporting the same on the frame of a stove, and auxiliary means for supporting and facilitating the assemblage of the parts comprising a supply pipe extending laterally from the reservoir outlet, a frame" member having an aperture therein through which said supply plp'e extends, said aperture extending beyond the plpe, a removable member secured in said aperture and adjustable to and from the said pipe, whereby the pipe maybepassed freely through the said aperture and secured therein between the said removable member and the edge of the aperture.
