IMPROVEMENT IN FASTENERS FOR SASHES AND DOORS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 140,026, dated J une 17,1873; application filed April 5, 1873.
, having points projecting from the under side to mark the centers of the circles, and a flange for the purpose of strengthening it in position, and a face-plate inclosing a bolt and spiral spring, all as hereinafter particularly described.
Figure 1 is the under or reverse side of the fastener embodying my invention. Fig. 2 is the face, end, and a portion of the edge of the Fig. 3 is a convenient form of doorfastener.
The fastener is substantially constructed of durable metal in four parts: A case, A A, and bolt B, which are cast; a spiral spring, made in the usual manner, to project the bolt; and a face-plate, F F, which covers the Whole. 0 G
