To all whom it may concern: I Be it known that I, WILLIAM B; Mo- DONALD, a citizen of the United States, -residin at Lawrence, in the county of Douglas and btate of Kansas, have invented; certain new and useful Improvements in Combination Wood and Cement Posts, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to improvements in combination wood and concrete posts and may be used to advantage as a fence post, a telegraph post, a building post, etc.
Broadly speaking the invention consists of a wooden post and a concretebase to support said post above the ground so that it will not rot out readily. The invention also embodies novel means for securing the post of a fastening device employed in connecting the wooden post and the cement block to ether.

The projection 6 is reinforced with one or more wires 10, arran ed in rectangular form, and hooks 12 which engage the wires 10 and extend downwardly through the block 4. g
