I claim l. A valve comprising a body portion made up of a plllralityof metal plates of different diameters some of said plates provided with holes, and other of said plates smaller in diameter than the first mentioned plates and interposed betiveen them so as to leave annular spaces at the periphery of the valve.

A valve comprising a body portion made up of a series of metal plates, some of said plates being`l perforated and other of said plates being` imperforate, the imperforate plates smaller in diameter than the perforated plates. and arranged intermediate the perforated plates so as to provide annular spaces at the periphery of the valve and a top and bottom plate between which the other plates are received, said top and bottom plate beingimperfo ate 4c.
