  • the improved stand-or support .constituting our invention comprises a pair of struts or legs so attached to the fire arm that when not required for use they may be folded into a position approximately parallel with each other and close to the underside of the fire arm in which position they are retained by a spring snap or like fastening, the said struts or legs being so pivoted that when the fastening is released the struts or legs automatically take their depending and outwardly spread or diverging positions for use.
