rBe vit known that I, EDWARD MORTIMER DEEY, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented certain Improvements in fHeating-Stoves, of which the following is a j specification: f

In this invention the water-back A is a castron tube, in form like the letter U,-which is placed directly in rear of the fire-back, and f having two pipes, B C, extending upward to the urn D, or they may extend to a reservoir Yand steam-exhaust. One of the legs of the frwater-back is protected by a shield, E, while Y the other leg is heated by the tire through aperture regulated by the damper F in the lire-back G. In the leg of the Water-back exposed to the fire, the water is heated and ascends tothe urn, while in the leg protected by the shield the water, being cooler, descends, hereby causing the water to circulate which would, in the event of both legs being heated UNITED STATES.
