Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 132,876, dated November 5, 1872.

Be it known that I, HERMAN THEMEL, of Esconawba, in the county of Delta and State of Michigan, have invented a new and Improved Medical Gompound or Stomach Bitters, of which the following is a specification:
This invention relates to a new medical compound, which is intended for use against stomach diseases in cases of cholera, &c. It is composed of the following ingredients in the proportion indicated, or nearly so:
To one-half 7 gallon of the hitters are used three ounces ofbog-bean two ounces of wormwood; one ounce of juniper-berry two ounces of valerian one ounce of gentian one ounce as new and desire to secure by Letters Pat-' ent-- The composition for a stomach bittcrs,herein described.
