When the comet and bra ere as both worn, thecorset is first adjusted to the body and the brassiere then applied over it, the lower edge of the brassiere overlapping the upper edge of the low corset. en the corset is; worn by fleshy persons and laced tightly around the body, the tissue of the body is caused to protrude or roll over the hpper edge of the corset and some means'is desirable to prevent this displacement or as it is unsightlyand undesirable. The front of the brassiere to which my improvements are applied consists essentially of the two parts or zones a and l). he zone a is the elastic upper portion used for the ordinary purposes of the brassiere', while the lower zone I) is of comparatively rigid but still elastic material which is applied at or slightly above the waist line.
