IMPROVEMENT IN ICE-'CREEPERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 128,370, dated June 25, 1872; antedated June 15, 1872.-
, SPECIFICATION. I, EMIL FRANK D'IETERIcHs, of Philadelphia,
A county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania,
have invented an Improved Creeper, of which the following is a specification:
Improved Creeper.
Nature and Object of the Invention.
My invention consists of a creeper, constructed in the peculiar manner fully described hereafter, with a view to efficiency as regards the prevention of slipping on the ice, and economy as regards construction.
Description of the Accompanying Drawing.
Figure 1 is a plan view of the steel plate preparatory to being bent and attached to a strap for forming the creeper; Fig. 2, a vertical section of the bent plate attached to the strap; Fig. 3, a view showing the creeper applied to the foot.
General Description. A plate, A, is cut or punched out to the form As a new article of manufacture, a creeper,
' consisting of a steel plate serrated at the edge,
and the serrated portion bent, as described, and a continuous strap extending across and secured to the plate, as set forth.
