A gun including a casing having an opening; a removable indepciuleut auxiliary housing Within .said casing aud having sides with uptiirned edges embracing the outer sides of the casing adjacent said opening; a trigger operatively mounted between the sides of said housing; an automatically operative member within said casing and outside of said housing, said housing having an opening through which a portion of said trigger moves and is guided to retain said member;l and a spring having an operative portion located between the sides of said housing arid for holding said portion of the trigger in a position to secure said member, substantially as described.

A gun including' a casing; an independent auxiliary housing mounted Within the casing and having sides spaced apart and secured to the casing; aV trigger operatively mounted between the sides of said housin an automatically operative member Within said casing, a portion of said trigger being movable into :i position to hold .said member, said housing having a tongue projecting therefrom; and a spring secured to said tongue at a position outside of said housing' and ha ving to nieve into a retaining position to hold said member` substantially as described.

A gun including a casing; an auxiliary housing mounted within the casing and having sides spaced apart and secured to the using; a trigger operatively mounted between the .sides of said housing; an automatically operative member within Said CaS- turned portion located outside of said housing; a spring having a portion extending Within said turned ortion of the tongue; and a band surrounding Said tongue and sprin operative positioned between the sides of the move and hold said portion of the trigger` into a retaining posimemben'said tongue hav ing notches therein in which a portion of said band fits, substantially as described.

A gun including a casing; an automatically movable member mounted within said casing; a trigger mounted Within said casing and consisting of a single piece of wire having a doubled portion to forma linger hold, each strand of the folded portion having an eyelet bent therein, said eyelets being arranged side by Side, and an extension located in a plane pas-sin said eyelets and havin a shou der bent therein; and a pivot mem er Within Said casing and passing through said eyelets, Substantially as described.

A gun including a casing; plunger within the casing and having a slot formed in one end; means for automatically an operative portion located be. tween the sides of said housing and adaptetll' and hold said portion of the trigger securing member having lateral extensions unntion und including al central partition,
