IMPROVEMENT IN FIRE-BRICKS AND STOVE-LININGS.
Specification forming part' of Letters Patent No. 122,908, dated January 23, 1872.
SPECIFICATION.
I, DAN PERRY, of West Mansfield, county of Bristol, Massachusetts, have invented certain Improvements in Fire-Brick and Stove-Linings, of which the following` is a specitication:
The nature of this invention is, combining metal with fire-brick and stOve-linin gs, for nearly the same purpose that hair is combined Wi th common plastering mortar. The object is to prevent Or retard the brick or linings from falling to pieces if it cracks, as all common linings are exceedingly liable tO do.
That Others skilled in a like matter may understand how to construct my said improvement, they are referred to the accompanying drawing, Which represents a perspective view O f my improved fire-brick.
At A A the ends Of the Wires are shown, the dotted lines indicating how located. The mortar is mixed and molded the same as for Claim.
What I claim as my invention is The fire-brick herein described, provided With transverse metal ties A, substantially as described, for the purpose set forth.
