COMBINATION LETTER-SHEET AND ENVELOB.

'To all whom it mag-concern:

Be it known that; I, JosnrH D. Tnssmn, a citizen of the United States, residing at .lVorcester, in the county of Worcester, and

5 in the State of Massachusetts, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in a Combination Letter-Sheet and Envelop; and I do hereby declare thefollowing to be a full, clear, concise, and exact description of .10 the inventiomsuch as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being made to the accompanying drawing which forms a part of this specification. My invention relates to iu'iprovements in that class of combination letter sheets and envelops in which the letter sheet cooperates with the envelop to form a unit article. 1 l

The object of my improvement is to provide a simple and cheap device for maintaining the letter sheet and the envelop'in a folded unit. I

A further object is to provide a foldable or locking means to hold the envelop and the letter a manner as to prevent accidental or unauthorized opening thereof.

A further object is to furnish an article possessing certain advantages and details of construction over those heretofore con structed as will be apparent from the following description and as specified in the claims.

Similar letters refer to similar parts throughout the several views. Referring first to Fig. 1 of the drawing my invention is made up principally of a letter sheet generally designated by the reference character L, an envelop portion C and a tab X. The envelop has the usual three tongues or flaps A, B, and B foldable respectively on the Specification of Letters Patent.
