IMPROVEMENT IN CHAIR-SEAT FRAMES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 121,080, dated November 21, 1871.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY BUGHTER, of Louisville, in the county of Jefferson and State of Kentucky, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Chair Frames for Seats, of which the following is a specification:
The drawing is a top view of a chair-seat frame.
The invention consists in corner-pieces of the improved construction hereinafter fully described and subsequently claimed.
A B O 0 represent the rounds of the frame. E are the corner-pieces, made of wood or metal, applied to the front corners. They are provided with holes to receive, respectively, the ends of the rounds and the screw by which they are fastened to the posts or legs of the chair-frame. By this construction the seat-frame may be much more readily and conveniently detached from and attached to the chair-frame.
Having thus described all that is necessary to a full understanding of my invention, what I esteem to be new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The piece E, constructed as described, and applied in the manner and for the purpose set forth.
