JOHN MEAH, OF MERIDEN, CONNECTICT, ASSIGNOR TO MERIDEN MALLEABLE- IRON COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
IMPROVEMENT IN CHANDELIERS CENTERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 119,780, dated October 10, 1871.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN MEAH, of West Meriden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new and Improved Chandelier; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming part of this specification.
My invention relates to improvements in chandeliers; and it consists in having a vertical socket for each arm on the inside of the cylindrical part of the center piece, from which the arms radiate, and a pintle on the part of the arm extending to the inside of said ring fitting in the socket,in which it is locked by the cap ofthe center piece.
