The invention has for its general objects to provide" a device of this character which is light,,clui'able, cheap, sanitary and fold-- able was' to adapt it for individual .use, it

A more specific object of the invention is;

Referring to the drawing, A designates a closetseat cover which is ovoid or of any other form to correspond to the shape of the seat, and it is-made of any suitable material,-

such as sheet paper, which may be treated or coated in such a manner as to readily be kept in a sanitary condition. The cover is are folded into thefront.

When the cover is open for use itappears as shown in 1, but when it is desired to foldthe cover it is collapsed by applying transverse pressure at opposite points a and b. and toward each other, whereby the 'sections will be folded to the position shown 7 in Fig. 3, and when this first stageof folding is completed, the rear sections 2 and 2 are swung around so as to fold in between the front'sections land l as shown in F ig 4. For this purpose the rear sections 2 and 2 are shorter than the front sections so that the rear tips of the rear'sectionswill clear away.

When it is From the foregoing description taken in a connection with the accompanying drawings, the advantages of the construction and method of operation will .be readily under stood by those skilled in the art to which the invention appertains, and while I have described the principle of operation, together with the article which I now consider to'be' I Y the best embodiment thereof, I desire to :haveitunderstood that the article shown is merely illustrative and that suchchanges may be made when desired as fall within the scope of the appended claims. A cover of the class described composed of four sections forming an ovoid structure, pivots connecting the adjacent endsof juxtaposed sections together, the pivots being arranged approximately in the transverse and longitudinal axes of the cover, and of the same number as the sec tions, and pieces applied to the faces of the sections and covering the-pivots.

4. A cover of the class described comprising an ovoid body having an ovoid opening, the marginal portion around the opening being bent downwardly, said body being divided in four sections pivotally connected together, the pivotal points being located in approximately longitudinal and transverse lines, the two rear'sections being shorter than thefront sections, whereby the rear sections can fold in between the front sections.
