Other objects and. advantages will be apparent from the followingdescription when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing.
In the drawing: Figure 1 is a side elevation of a hoop made in accordance with my invention, Fig. 2 is an enlarged vertical sec-' tion on the line of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the guiding and rolling device, and Fig. i is a horizontal. section on v the line H of Fig. 1.
Referring particularly-Jo the accompanying drawing, 10. represents a hoop which is formed of a strip of metal, the marginal edges of which are bent inwardly as at 11, and then directed in parallelspaced relation with their innec edges disposed toward the Specification of Letters Patent.

. To roll the hoop there is provided a, stick, llfiil one end of which is secured a rectangular loop 15, one of the outer corners" of which is separable, as shown at 16 to permit of the placing of a portion of the hoopwithin the loop.
In the operation of the device, the loop' 15 is properly engaged with the hoop and then the marble 13 placed so that it rests on the two flanges 12. Then by manipulating the stick, the hoop can be caused to roll along the ground. By the exercise of skill, the
