A further object of the invention is the provision of a which is simple in construction, reliable and efiicient in its purpose, and inexpensive in manufacture.
WVith these and other objects in view, the invention consists in the construction, combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter fully described, illustrated in V the accompanying drawing, and pointed out in the claim hereunto appended. V
In the drawingz-Figure 1 isa fragmentary side elevation of a bottle withthe label constructed in accordance with the invention applied. v Fig. 2 is a vertical sectional view. Fig. 3 is'a sectional view on the line 8-3 of Fig. 1. v
Similar reference characters indicate corresponding parts throughout the several views in the drawing.
Referring to the drawing in detail, A designates a portion of the body of a bottle,

that the plates can be molded in the wall of r the body A of the bottle to become a permanent part thereof, and to remove it the body A will necessarily have to be broken or damaged to a degree for rendering it unfit for use. i
Cut from the base plate 5 near the ends 7 which are outwardly bent'at an angle to the plane of the outer face of the plate and thereof are resilient tongues or wings 9 r serve to frictionally bind and secure the name plate 7'upon the base plate 5 so as to hold it locked thereto. v
Formed on the inner face of the name plate 7 are cam facestops 10, which, on the sliding of the said plate in the guides or flanges 6, willride over the tongues or'wings 9 for the positive locking engagement of the latter with the stops 9' to fasten the name plate 7 in position, thereby making it impossible to remove the same.
From the foregoing it is thought that the construction, manner of application, and the use'of the invention will be clearly understood, and
A label'structure comprising a base plate provided with guide flanges at opposite lontherefore a more extended e2 planation has been omitted. However,it 1s itudinal edges and at one end edge, resili- 7 ant tongues out and bent slightly outwardly 2 Y 1,159,1ee
