When it is desired to use the napkin the band B is distended so that the bulbs will slip readily and easily over the neck and come together again by the clas ticity of' the spring, thus encompassing the neck. A
This manner of attachment confines the napkin to its position over the lbosom, while at the same time it is'free to be taken up'aud used as occasion mayrequire withoutpliability of misplacement or necessity of adjustment. Should it be found advisable, thenapkin may be secured to the band in any other manner than that herein described.
I also contemplate, as a feature 0fmy invention,
the attachmentof aprons to thebody by. the device herein describedrand in this lattercase there may be two springs, one to encompass theneek and the other the waist, thereby avoiding the loss of time occupied in tying them on, and admitting of their instant re-` moval as may be required.
Having described my invention,
I claim- The lexible metallic or g11ttapercha band B, slitted'v transversely,.and having a napkin attached thereto in any suitable manner, capable of being disteudedso as to slide over and encompassthe neck, wherebv the napkinA is retained in proper positionover the bosom of the user, as herein shown and described.-
