WILLIAM M. KLEIN, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
SANITARY PACKAGE FOR SHAVERS USE.
Specification of Letters Patent.
Patented Aug. 17, 1915.
Application filed July 25, 1914. Serial No. 853,202.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, WILLIAM M. KLEIN, a subject of the Russian Empire, and resident of the borough of Bronx, in the city and State of New York, have invented .a new and useful Sanitary Package for Shavers Use, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a sanitary package for shavers use, and has for its principal object to provide a novel form of sanitary package containing an aseptic shaving brush, a disinfectant treated strip for use, when moistened, in connection with the razor and operators fingers, a towel, aseptic soap, and a razor cleaning paper inclosing and sealing the aforesaid-articles, all of which are adapted to be placed within a cup or receptacle and secured therein, thus insuring, to the person using it, a strictly sanitary outfit for a shave.
A practical embodiment of my invention is represented in the accompanying.drawings, in which Figure 1 represents a view in elevation of the sanitary package as presented to the user, Fig. 2 represents a view in elevation of the sealed sanitary package removed from the cup orv receptacle, and Fig. 3 represents a transverse central section of the outfit as shown in Fig. 1.
The cup or receptacle is denoted by 1 and is adapted to receive a sanitary package 2. This package comprises an aseptic brush 3, a disinfectant treated strip 4 for use, when moistened, in connection with the razor at the time of shaving and at the same time in connection with the operators fingers which are to be applied to the face, a towel 5 and aseptic soap 6 sufiicient for a single use. A razor cleaning paper 7 serves as a wrapper for the contents of the package.
In practice, the package is put up for sale in the following manner: The towel 5 is folded so that the width of the towel will be approximately about the same as the depth of the receptacle 1. The brush 3, the aseptic soap 6, and the disinfectant treated strip 4 are then placed in the towel and the towel,
with the aforementioned articles, rolled into a cylindrical form. The razor paper 7 is applied to completely envelop the cylindrical package to which may be added a means for securing the wrapper around the package such, for instance, as gummed pasters 8. The sealed sanitary package is next placed within the receptacle 1 and held in position by straps 9 glued to the receptacle. The package is made into cylindrical form of greater diameter than the receptacle so that the wrapped package must be forced into the receptacle, thereby completely filling the interior of the same and protecting it from dust and dirt. Thus it will be seen that the person using the package is insured of a sanitary brush, soap, towel and cup or receptacle, together with the disinfectant treated strip as an added precaution against anger and disease from infection.
If desired, the receptacle may be dispensed with and the sanitary package still present the effective features hereinbefore described.
What I claim is 1. A sanitary package for shavers use comprising a brush, aseptic soap, a disinfectant treated strip embracing said brush, a towel folded to the width of the package and rolled around said strip, brush and soap, and a wrapper enveloping and sealing aforesaid articles in a single package, said strip when moistened to be used in connection with a razor and the operators fingers and said wrapper serving as a razor cleaning paper when removed from the package.
2. A sanitary package for shavers use comprising a brush, aseptic soap, a disinfectant treated strip embracing said brush, a towel folded to the width of the package and rolled around said strip, brush and soap to form a cylindrical body, a wrapper enveloping and sealing aforesaid articles in a single package, a receptacleior said sealed package and means for securing said package snugly within said receptacle, said strip, When moistened, to be used in connection with a razor and the operators fingers-and said wrapper serving as a razor cleaning paper when removed from the package.
In testimony, that I claim the foregoing as my invention, I have signed my name in presence of two witnesses, this sixth day of July 1914.
