To all whom it may concern: 7 I
SAMUEL W. WoMAoK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Quanah', in the county of Hardernan and State of Texas, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Cooling and Disinfecting' Devices; and I; do declare the following-to be a full, clear, and exact do scription of the invention, such as'will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use thefsame y invention relates to improvementsin cooling and disinfecting devices and has for its primary ob 'ect to provide a simple, inex-' pensive and e cient device of this character which will be well adapted to the purpose for which it is designed. y
In carrying out the above end, I provide a feed pipe having a number of dis charge nipples, a curtain depending from said nipples, a slotted tube at the lower end of said curtain for catching the drippings therefrom and means whereby the supply of struction fl'uid mav be increased or decreased.
A secondary object of provide simple and efficient means whereby the curtain may be detachably supported bv the feed pipe and to so position the-parts about said means as'to cause the same to behidden from'view.
A further object of the invention is to construct the upper end-bf the curtain in such a manner as to cause it to readily coact with .said attaching members and to also efiectually distribute the liquid flowing from the feed pipe.
Still anotherobject of the invention is to construct the means for controlling the sup ply of fluid in the most simple manner conproper operation.
A still further object is to construct the tube, at the lower end of the curtain, in such a manner as to allow said curtain to be readily removed and'to provide means for detachably retaining said curtain in said tube.

A further explanation and illustration is therefore deemed unnecessary.

I have described my invention with considerable minuteness and have set forth certain s ecific embodiments for carrying out the o jects of the invention but I wish it clearly understood that I need not be limited to any details of construction, proportioning of parts,1etc., other than those set forth in the appended claims.

A device of the character described including, a transverse fiuid feed pipehaving a number of discharge opehings in its under side, a curtain below said pipe, U shaped loops attached to the upper edge of the vcurtain and having theends of their arms entering said openings and bent lat- I orally in the pipe to provide supports for the curtain, and means for feeding said pipe.
2. A device of the character described including a lateral fluid fecd'jpipe, a number liquid to of flexible discharge tubes depending therefrom, av curtain suspended below the pipe and having portions entering said flexible tubes, and means whereby said tubes may be compressed, thereby diminishing the fluid supply.
3. A device of the character described including a lateral fluid feed pipe, :1 number of flexible tubes depending therefrom, it ourtain below the tubes, and having portions entering the lower ends thereof, removable attaching elements rising from the portions of the curtain in the tubes, and independent clamps for compressing the tubes to diminish the fluid supply.
