Specification of Letters Patent.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, WILLIAM TRIIVENA lVILLIAMs IDRIs and WILLIA OLIVER Ross, subjects of the King of GreatBritain, residing, respectively at 244 Camden road, CamdenTown, London, England, and 32 vVestfield road, Hornsey; London, England, have invented newland useful Improvements in Siphons for Aerated Liquids, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to siphons in' which ring fitting around the outside of thehead, the lower edge of which bears upon a flange on the split ring while its upper ed e bears against the projecting portions ofthe block. The ring may be prevented from turning by internal segmental'lugs whiohtfit between:
the forks or in the slots in the head.
The invention is applicable both to long.
and short lever siphons. n a Figures 1 and2are vertical sections at right angles to each other of a siphon'top constructed according to this inventIon.
Figs. 3 and 4: are sections onthe lines A-A. and 13-13 Figs. 1 and 2. Fig. 5 is a detached elevation of the lower part of the siphon head. Y

between them.
4: is the central tube and 5 is the split ring. i
6 (Fig. 5) is the lower part of the siphon top provided'with an internal screw thread 7 for screwing onto the split 'ringand an respectively.
external screw-thread 8onto which screws I the cap 9. The part 6 as shown has in it two vertlcal slots through which the block 2 proects. The projecting portions of the block beingdovetailed as shown at Fig. 4' so that the block is firmly held and cannot be moved sIdewIse relatively to the part 6. 1 The block Is prevented from moving downward (when fits outside the part 6.
11 are segmental lugs In the ring 10 which I fit the slots in the part6. The slots may be p the part 6 instead of at the at the'top of bottom.- I
