The reference character 18 indicates a suitable-back-plate which isj-iormed with a downwardly extending marginal flange 19, said flange 19 being embraced" by the previously-mentioned marginal flange 11 of the faceep'late '10, and the two plates 10 and 18 being suitably secured together by means of vthe previously mentioned retaining or hold-V mg lugs 12 which'are bent over upon the said back-plate 18, as will be clearly evident froman inspection of Figs. 3, 5 and 6 of the drawings, Within the. said shell or case 2,
being suitablysecured to the inner surfaceand operative relation within the said shell I crease-'1, as will be clearly evident from an. inspection of Figs. 3, 4' and 5 of the drawrings.
The previously mentioned back-plate 18 is provided with a pair ofoppositely disposed openings or slots 23 in which are'movably arranged'and from which project the catchportionso'r members 2% of the locking bolts of" the key-operated lock-mechanism 17.. Suitably secured by means of rivets 25, or

As will be seen more especially from aninspection of Fig. 7 of the drawings, the angularly arranged holding or retaining members 27 have their end-portions 28 extending in opposite directions beyond the marginal edge-portions 29 of the plate-like members or elements 26, so as to provide a air of marginal holding edge-portions 30, hind which the previously mentioned projectional elements 13, when the closurehas been placed in the open end-portion of the shell or case 1, are slipped into" retaining engagement with the said end-portions 28, and thereby positively prevent any spreading or bulging out of the longitudinally extendingsides-Q of the shell or case 1, as will be clearly understood from an inspection of Figs. 3, 5, 6 and 7 of the drawings. Of course, I am aware that some changes 'may be made in the general arrangements and combinations of the various devices and parts, as well as in the details of the con- .struction of the same, from the scope of the present invention as without departing defined in the appended claim. Hence, I do I not limit my invention .to the exact arrangenients'and combinations of the various devices and parts as set forth'in the foregoing specification, nor do 1 confine myself to the exact details of the construction of the said parts as illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
