IMPROVEMENT IN BUCK-SAWS.

.L ARIEL B. SPROT, of Mnncy, in the county of' Lycoming :ind Stute of Pennsylvania, have invented certain Improvements in Buck-Saws. l v

My invention yeonsistsin strztiningnnd bracing zt saw und frame by means of' n. lever and bar so pivoted together thnt, when the end of the'lever is elevated, it will shorten the space between one en d'of the lever und one end of the bnr, nnd when depressed it will lengthen the space and three-the tranne ftpnrt, so ns to strain the saw und ironie; then by fasteningthe end of the lever it will brace tite frame :md sew.

What I elnim as of my invention is The combination of the leves D with the bnr E and stretcher O, for the purpose set forth and described.
