Figure l is an isometrical view of the hooks and eyes when in use. Fig. 2 shows the hook and eye when separate from the cloth. Fig. 3 is a perpendicular view of the hook. Fig. L is the eye. Fig. 5 is a prole of the hook. p
It may be seen that the principal diii'erence in this hook from the common kind consists in having its point (a) brought quite down between the bows (b and b) thus protecting and preventing it from being unhooked by accident or coming in contact with any entangling substance.`
I do not claim the general device of bending the hook back or inward to prevent the eye from being loosened, but only when the body of the hook is bowed and the point brought quite down within the bc-w.
. lVhat I claim as my improvement and desire to have secured by Letters Patent is- The peculiar form and construction of the hook having its point brought around with in the bow as atore described so as to prevent its being unintentionally unhooked or becoming caught or tangled with clothing, hair or other substances.
