The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent 'and making part of the (same.
To all whom tt may con-cern:
Be it known that I, LOUIS Evans, ot'littshln-g, in
vthe eouutyof Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania,
have invented a new an'd improved Combined Caster and Spoon-Holder; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description lof the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing making a part ot' this specification, in which- Figure l is a plan View, and 1 Figure 2 is a side elevation.
llhis invention relates to a caster of that class in which there are radial revolving arms, which bear the rings that hold the bottles'or cruets; and
The invention consists in the adaptation of such Vradial arms to the' purpose of holding` spoons or forks.

The arms d are each slotte'd centrally throughout their entire length; as shown at f, and in said arms at each side of the slot notches, h, are made in pairs, the
l notches ot' each pair being directly opposite eachl other, and the number of pairs of notches in each arm depending upon its length.
These notches serve to hold the handles of spoons or forks, when dropped' into them, crosswise ofthe slot, the forks hanging vertically in the notches, with their prongs down.
The notches may be made of different sizes, so as to'aceominodate tea-,'table, or dessert-spoons or forks,
the different varieties of which may be distributed cach in a separate arm of the caster.
I am aware that a spoon or fork-holder, constructed with a ring, from which prongs project for supporting the spoons or forks, is no new thing; but, so far as I am aware, a spoonholder constructed like mine is af novelty.
