The advantages of rollers ff, for yinsuring thecasy movement of the chain, need no explanation. Althoughl have shown the detachable plate b'and its rollers `as applied to a double hinge, it will be evident thatit is equally applicableto a singlev hinge. It will also be evident thatv the spring I may be contained within a-recess inthe door-frame, in which duced into a recess in the door.
