VVARNER, a, citizen of the United States, residing at New Britain, in the County of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented certain' tacles ot my connection', 'together jwith a' breken View of a portion of the covered wires to which they are ettached. I claim as my' inventionz 1. In a plug connection, the resilientjaws formed of sheet metal bent into triangular form, the three sides thereof constituting three jaws, and a protecting case having a chamber .for said jaws of an angular form in cross section' with walls for the three sides of the said three jaws.

In a plug connection, the resilient jaws and shank formed of sheet metal in trianglar form in cross section, a bindinggpost mounted in the said shank, a shell or case having an'axial opening therethrongh, a portion of the said opening being of an angular form With walls for the three jaws, and a portion thereof being cylind rical, a collar for the wire within the said cylindrical portion of the said opening, and means for securing the said collar within said case.
