Be lit known that I, MOsEs M. COHEN, of Boston, in theoounty of Suffolk and State of Massaoh usetts, h ave invented certain Improvements-in Qhignons, which I call the Neapolitan Frizzle, of which the following-is a specication.

This invention consists in a chignon composed of a tube Inadeup of a series of circular links or loops 0f hair, jute, or other material of which chignons maybe manufactured,woven together, which tubeis then wound around a stiff wire, cord, or the like that maybe bent so V the manufactured article; B, the tube Of which the chignon is composed; b,'the rings, which are woven together, so as to form the tube, as

shown at C, and E the wire around which the4 tube is wound. A i

It will be readily seen that by this method chignons can be more quickly and easily Inanufactured, and also that the design can be varied, and the tubes of hair can be arranged in any tasteful and convenient form. l

Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is- 1 A chignon composed of the tube B, wound around the wire E when the tube is made up Of rings b,woven together, substantially as described.
