For the purpose of assembling and dismembering the bar and sleeve I provide the flange 9 with a threaded opening 18 through which the bearing members 14 may b'e re-l moved and replaced, and close said opening by means ofa threaded plug 19 havmg its inner terminal formed with a semicircular 'groove 2O that forms a part of the raceway 13 when in position. 1n dismembering the sleeve 10 and bar 1 the plug 19 is removed from the opening 18 and the bearing members 14.- dumped from the casing therethrough. The sleeve may then be removed from the casing and the bearing members 17- also removed therefrom. In replacing the sleeve the bearing members 17 are rst placed in the raceway 16 in the casing when the bar 1 is in an upright position. The v11a sleeve lO is then placed on the liar and lowered into pcsitioii so that the enlargement. 1L is Within the casing.
