To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, JOSEPH E. ALLEN, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of Chicago, county of Cook, and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvementsv in Vehicle- Lamps, of which the following is a. specitication.

My invention relates to improvements in vehicle lamps and more specifically to elec trically lighted lamps of this character which are designed especially t'or use as headlights.

The object of my invention is the production of a vehicle lamp of the character mentioned, which will be of durable and economical construction and of high etticiency in use.

Other objects will appear hereinafter.

lViththese objects in view my invention consists in the construction and arrangements of parts hereinafter described and claimed.

My invention will be best understood by reference to the accompanying drawings forming a part of this specification and in which,
