To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that l, HARRY H. CRAFT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cedar Rapids, in the county oi Linn and State 01" lowa. have invented certain new and uset'ul improvements in Sanitary Cuspidors, of which the following a speciti ca tion.

This invention relates to new and useful improvements in sanitary cuspidors.

An object of this invention is provision of a sanitary cuspidor including a bowl and means for directing a continuous flow of water therethrough.

Another object of this invention is a provision of a cuspidor such as described which will. be neat and attractive in appearance, simple and inexpensive to manufacture, re liable and etlicient in use and readily operated.

With the above and other objects in view this invention resides in the novel features of construction, formations, combinations and arrangements of parts to be hereinafter more fully described, claimed and illustrated in the accompanying drawing in which:

It should be understood in this connection that various minor changes in the details of construction can be resorted to within the scope of the appended drawings without departing from or sacrificing any of the advantages of the invention.

From the foregoing disclosures taken in connection with the accompanying drawing, it will be manifest that a sanitary cuspidor is provided which will fulfil. all ot the nec essary requirements of such a device.

Having thus fully described this invention what 15 claim as new and desire to pr0- tect by Letters Patentis:

1. A sanitary cuspidor comprising a base, a standard formed thereon. an enlarged head formed upon the standard, said head being concaved. and producing a bowl, said standard having a passage extending theretl'irough and communicating with the bowl, a shell formed upon the base and extending in spaced relation to the stancard and the bowl, said shell having an opening formed therein in communication with the bowl, means of supplying fluid to the passage between the standard and the shell and discharge means connected to the passage within the standard.
